OUR VETERINARY SERVICES
Barlow Trail Veterinary Clinic is a full-service animal hospital and wellness center. We provide in-house surgeries, a full range of diagnostic laboratory services, isolation care and a complete pet pharmacy.
We recommend a complete physical exam for your pet on a yearly basis. Lots of changes can occur from year to year, especially as your pet gets older. Preventative health care recommendations are made based on examination findings and your pet’s individual needs and situation, which you help us to determine.
Veterinary Surgery
Our Veterinarians are trained in state-of-the-art surgical techniques should your pet require a surgical procedure. Our doctors can perform minor and major soft tissue surgeries, orthopedic surgeries, ophthalmic surgery, fracture and cruciate repair, as well as caesarean section and routine spay and neuter.
On-Site Laboratory
Our on-site laboratory allows us to perform diagnostic lab testing to help us determine the best treatment plan for your pet's medical condition. We can perform pre-anesthetic blood screening, cytology, urinalysis, fecal analysis and many other laboratory procedures to help us determine the best treatment plan for your pet.
Veterinary X-Ray
Our modern X-Ray equipment ensures fast and accurate diagnostic images. Within just a few minutes, we can have your pet's X-rays ready for interpretation by our doctors.
Pet Dental Care
When it comes to extending the quantity and quality of your pet's life, we believe that regular dental care is second only to good nutrition in degree of importance. Bacteria that live in the tartar on your pet's teeth produce toxins that are absorbed into the blood, and slowly damage your pet's kidneys and liver. Through regular dental exams, ultrasonic, and polishing, the bacteria are minimized, and your pet's life is enhanced and extended. Good dental care reduces plaque and tartar buildup which causes bad breath, tooth abscess, loose teeth, mouth pain and receding or infected gums. We use the latest in Dental Ultrasonic Scalers to clean and polish each tooth as you have done at your dentist.
Vaccinations
Vaccinating your pets against disease is one of the most important aspects of pet health care.
Proper vaccination can spare your pets from such potentially deadly diseases as rabies, distemper and feline leukemia. Vaccinations must be re-administered periodically to protect your pets from diseases and keep them healthy for a lifetime.
